Thanks to the ASL Signer at VBS! (Psalm 23)

ASL Signer at VBS

I was originally going to tell my mom (fellow blogger on this site!) that I would not be able to post a blog this week. Things have been really busy and crazy, and I was otherwise overwhelmed to get a blog fully ready. I did not even think I’d be able to “double check” any of my back-up blogs. My brain was just that spent to post this weekend.

THEN…

I was so blessed by the following that I knew I needed to share it for this week’s (short!) blog.

Only days before this blog would post, I was about to leave church with my son. He's old enough to help at VBS for the 1^st time! I was blessed to see part of the day’s closing ceremony when the children were quoting Psalm 23.

I “happened" to glance over and see the ASL leader signing Psalm 23 to the deaf children. I became teary-eyed for sure! (I do not believe I have ever seen somebody signing a Bible passage to children before???)

This leader was passionately signing God’s promises to the children, and I was blessed for sure.
