Just something short and sweet.... and, so very important for this Easter weekend!
Scripture tells us in Romans 5:8 that “…while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us”. Oh, what amazing grace that entailed! But, that is not the ‘end of the story.’
I Corinthians 15:1-3 states that the Gospel message of Jesus Christ (the Good News!) is “that He died for our sins, according to the Scripture…and, that He was buried and rose again on the third day, according to the Scripture”.
The Good News of Jesus Christ is made possible by His resurrection. THIS is amazing grace!
That is why I like the above image from 1 Peter 1:3 so much....especially at this Easter season.
Please go back up and read it again! Have you called upon the name of the Lord and been born again to a living hope...through the resurrection ?
